CTA offers academic solutions for high school graduates seeking to earn college or university credits. This program is designed to help students start their college career while focusing in their tennis career.

“College Placement Program “

The Cañas Tennis Academy partners with University Sports Program (USP) to offer all junior players the possibility of playing and studying in a university in the USA.

USP is one the most recognized agencies in the world in advising and placing junior players in colleges in the USA. Every year USP helps hundreds of players who have excelled in their country and internationally to obtain athletic scholarships to study in the USA.

The College Placement service includes:

1. Development of player presentation to coaches (profile & video ).
2. Assessment on College Tennis rules and eligibility.
3. Assessment on communicating with college coaches and preparing for interviews and visits.
4. Screening to select the best colleges based on student’s personal, academic and athletic qualifications.
5. Individual contact with each coach and negotiation of the best possible scholarship offers.
6. Assistance in the planning of college visits.
7. Assistance in the admissions and all testing requirements (SAT,ACT and TOEFL).
8. Assistance with the NCAA Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse application
